It’s a cool place to work if your not looking to grow in the company or just be told what to do if management doesn’t want to do it. I will say the best part of the job was getting customers that understood buyback and ones that would come back and we’re very pleasant to talk to and some of my coworkers being really great people. We had to walk on egg shells and clean up the store like there’s no tomorrow, but only if corporate is coming. We buy & sell used books, music (including vinyl), movies, video games, gaming systems, audiobooks, & more. The offers are usually so low that they feel insulted and get angry, not at the company but at us and some instances where I was even yelled at. It should also be noted that I was under the impression that the used systems sold at 2nd & Charles only included the console, power cord and audio/visual connections. Especially on the buyback side of things as that was my main job. Then things went down hill after seeing how things worked. Second and Charles was a job I was extremely excited to work for, when I first got hired.
